Stone Cleaning

Ellerbeck Stonework offers a professional, efficient and tidy stone cleaning service. Our experienced stonemasons will survey your home or business property and will advise on the best cleaning method for your project.

We specialise in the Façade cleaning of all types of Stone, Brick, Terracotta, Faïence, Marble, Granite, and Concrete. Whether by using gentle Nebulous water sprays, chemical cleaning with the aid of hot or cold water washing, poulticing, and chemical stripping, and low-pressure abrasive cleaning that still has its benefits under controlled conditions.

Every project is assessed on its own merits, with a careful approach taken to determine the methods to be used. Often combining methods, to produce the best possible clean while conserving the surface of the façade. In most cases we would carry out trial samples, that can demonstrate the varying degree of clean achieved, by these methods. A combination of methods can be adopted where particular staining may be evident compared to the remaining surface area.

Our experience has been gained through years of working on historically important buildings, where conservation of the façade has been of the utmost importance.

We have a history of working on tower office blocks, museums, stations, churches, banks, and impressive period residences. As well as final cleans on new build projects. Be assured that whatever type of project is concerned, a very personal level of service will be applied.
